APM Description

ACES Power Marketing provides energy trading and risk management services to its 16 Owners (power supply cooperatives) and scores of energy industry participants.

APM's Owners and Clients operate in every market region of the United States. They include:

Investor-owned utilities
Municipal utilities
Public power agencies
Renewable energy providers
Industrial companies
Banks and hedge funds

APM provides its services "as agent". That is, APM represents its owners and clients in the marketplace and works on their behalf to manage energy risk. APM itself does not take positions in the market (this avoids conflicts of interest).

APM annually transacts several billion dollars on behalf of its Owners and Clients, who have a collective portfolio of approximately 40,000 MW of load and 30,000 MW of resources.
