Due to the extreme weather events affecting much of the nation this week, the Phase 1 proposal deadline has been extended to 2:00 PM CPT on March 11, 2021.

Responses to questions will be provided as soon as practical. Response times will vary depending upon the complexity of the question.
No, submitting a Notice of Intent does not obligate your company to submit an offer. However, a Notice of Intent is required to be able to submit an offer on behalf of your organization for this RFP.
AECC will not accept any nonconforming offers. Offers for wind resources are classified as nonconforming. Wind resources may submit proposals for Firm Capacity only.
For stand-alone energy storage resources, AECC will consider offers containing all revenue attributes associated with the resource as well as offers for Firm Capacity only.
AECC will not accept energy only proposals. All proposals received in the RFP must contain SPP Firm Capacity.
The 30 MW minimum for Firm Capacity offers refers to the minimum quantity of Firm Capacity delivered to AECC’s load.
AECC will consider Firm Capacity only offers from operating wind projects so long as the seller guarantees the accredited capacity volume for the term.
Yes, each pricing scenario is considered a unique proposal. As such, an Appendix B is to be submitted for each individual pricing scenario.
Site control qualification will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Please provide the most current information and documentation which details the level of site control.
Please use publicly available historical pricing data from SPP to formulate Phase 1 proposals. AECC may execute a Confidentiality Agreement with select Phase 2 Respondents, as necessary, and provide historical data.
