Platte River may deliver to an alternate Delivery Point located within Platte River’s transmission system where there is available transfer capability for the entire term of the Agreement. Platte River may incur an additional cost to deliver to an alternate Delivery Point, which will be considered when evaluating proposals.
Respondents are encouraged to provide proposals that conform with the guidelines outlined in the RFP and the structure provided in Appendix A. Conforming offers allow Platte River to objectively evaluate all bids and determine which proposal will provide the greatest benefit to Platte River and its customers.
Platte River will seek to obtain firm transmission service available to Ault and Craig for the term of the sales offered in the RFP and believes capacity is available.
No, Platte River requires notification to take energy deliveries by 7:00 AM (MPT) under the WECC Preschedule Calendar.
Nominations must be made in alignment with the WECC Preschedule Calendar so nomination must be on Friday for the weekend unless the calendar indicates otherwise.
In determining our available capacity, Platte River considers our pre-existing firm commitments and our native load. After taking into account these pre-existing commitments, Platte River is selling only capacity above its planning reserve requirements and will curtail energy deliveries only if it cannot reliably serve native load and pre-existing firm commitments. Platte River will treat this product as a firm commitment from an operational standpoint (for example, applicable NERC standards).

If necessary, Platte River will curtail all firm service pro-rata according to what will most effectively relieve the constraint.
Platte River will not purchase firm gas for this transaction. Due to the location of our gas units near the Cheyenne Gas Hub, Platte River typically has natural gas generation available during the winter months.
