ACES recently made contributions to two relief funds that provide support to those in the Carolinas that were affected by Hurricane Florence: the Human Connections Fund and the Salvation Army’s Hurricane Florence Relief Fund. The Human Connections Fund is activated by North Carolina EMC to support cooperative families in North Carolina when large-scale events impact the state. The Salvation Army’s Hurricane Florence Relief Fund is currently providing food and shelter to storm victims and first responders in more than a dozen Carolina communities.
The Carolinas are home to several of ACES’ Members and Customers, as well as ACES’ East Regional Trading Center (RTC), many of whom have also made significant contributions to help those affected by the Hurricane Florence. Since its inception, ACES and its employees have remained committed to the cooperative principles of cooperation and concern for community.
