ACES has extensive energy management experience. Our Clients, including electric cooperatives, municipalities, independent power generators, and some of the largest financial institutions in the world, represent an annual peak load of more than 55,000 MW and more than 55,000 MW of generation, and we execute billions of dollars in energy transactions every year on their behalf.
ACES is unique in that it acts as agent on behalf of its Clients. ACES does not own generation and does not serve load. This means ACES does not take, and never has taken, ownership of any commodity, including power, natural gas, transmission, natural gas pipeline, renewable energy credits, fuel oil, or emissions. This business model ensures ACES will not have a conflicting commercial position within any market its Members and Customers operate in, and that all transactions and recommendations are in the best interest of our Clients and their respective portfolios.
ACES offers a broad suite of energy management, risk management, and planning services across a broad spectrum of energy market participants. Our Clients can select specific service packages or utilize individual services on an à la carte basis.
ACES works with diverse portfolios across the U.S. We operate in all ISOs/RTOs and the non-ISO/RTO traditional markets in the Southeast and West.
